YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role are to:
- Perform mammalian cell culture process in an R&D environment, including small-scale cell culture manipulations in biosafety cabinet , laboratory and pilot-scale bioreactor operations and media/solutions preparations;
- Conduct experiments under supervision to for iPSC/ESC expansion and differentiation process development;
- Analyze samples using various laboratory instruments;
- Develop skills for experimental design, execution, and data analysis;
- Present results in a team setting.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor undergraduate program with a preferred focus in mammalian cell biology (including stem cell biology), biochemical engineering, etc;
- Good organization, documentation, prioritization, and scheduling skills together with an overall desire to learn;
- Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal directions in performing experiments and other development procedures;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet departmental goals;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficient in MS Office is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of working in a BSL 2 laboratory.
