As Bayer Crop Science's digital farming arm, we advance regenerative agriculture and technology breakthroughs using the latest agronomic science, data science, engineering, and real-world farming experience. With groundbreaking technologies like Climate FieldView and our ForGround regenerative agriculture platform, our team is a part of some of the most important advancements in ag.
- Design and testing of Electronics boards that include power circuits and protection, Multiple I/O channels to support sensor inputs or industry communications like RS233, CAN, USB etc., Microcontrollers, memory, RF modules (BT, WiFi, Cellular), antennas and shielding.
- Manufacturing support, at both prototype and series industrialization. These would include an understanding of how to test along the production line and develop tests that support the successful manufacturing of the devices, optimization of processes or said tests.
- Working together with both Mechanical and Embedded Firmware teams on the design of complete products, supporting changes associated with performance, function and form factor
- Creating and Maintaining associated Design Documentation
- Supporting Regulatory work associated with the testing and release of devices, CE work, EMC testing related to FCC, CE and other regional regulatory bodies, Carrier certifications and specifications sheets and declarations for the regulatory bodies.
Our department creates new consumer-facing agricultural IoT products, and we are fully responsible for design, prototyping, testing, regulatory certification, and manufacturing. As a member of our team, you will have the ability to take part in every aspect of the product’s lifecycle, creating real products that improve outcomes for farmers around the world. This job is not about designing anonymous widgets, it is an opportunity to make a substantial contribution to our development effort and to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives while doing work that you love. Our team has a diverse collection of skills, and a successful candidate will help complement and extend our abilities.
