Process Generalist

 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Process Generalist, are:

 

  • Be accountable for all areas of quality including product, process, and system quality for plant and field operations;
  • Own manufacturing document control for quality purposes;
  • Ensure Row Crop Production teams are putting the customer first by partnering with Regional Quality, Manufacturing Excellence, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure key critical parameters are in place to deliver product right the first time;
  • Support complaint management by determining corrective action processes and ensuring follow up;
  • Measure and report the Cost of Poor-Quality occurrences;
  • Accountable for ensuring stewardship processes are being being understood and utilized throughout manufacturing and reporting occurs as expected;
  • Assure departmental and cross-functional disciplines are trained in all aspects of quality;
  • Accountable for all lab operations ensuring that processes are executed accurately, and operational goals and metrics are being met;
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders and operate as key point of contact for quality related matters including best practice sharing;
  • Maintain a Quality management System on-site according to external and internal requirements; Generate Site Quality Management reviews;
  • Ensure that the specifications/regulations in the ISO systems are implemented at the site;
  • Support effective internal audit program on Site Support implementation of respective global/regional quality initiatives, programs, and regulations;

  

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in applicable area or High School Diploma and 7 years of applicable experience;
  • Valid Driver’s License. In order to be eligible to drive a company car, your driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for hiring drivers – MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening;
  • Able to prioritize work schedule;
  • Demonstrates some ability to work independently;
  • Ability to support others in completing assigned tasks;
  • Follows policies and procedures;
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. (a bag of seed);
  • Ability to work days, nights, rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as business needs require.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Masters degree, preferably MBA.
